Rick Russon
Advisor - IT Infrastructure
Rick Russon is responsible for finding resources and helping clients migrate their IT infrastructure to the cloud. He helps clients with the judicious use of technology, processes, and policies to optimize workflows. He is involved in an engagement through pre-sales technical support, engineering, production (light manufacturing, software releases, services), testing, quality assurance, and customer service. Rick has more than 35 years integrating processes and technology into business operations. He is able to accurately define the scope of a project or problem, understand business workflows and financials, and simplify complex concepts for presentation to non-technical people. He is adept at the recovery of failing projects. Rick began his career at NASA’s Johnson Space Center testing flight-ready avionics for the first five Space Shuttle flights. Most recently he has run his own Operations and Technology consultancy for 18 years. His clients have included a 368-bed acute care hospital, a 548,000 sq ft convention center, a 22,000 member labor union, advertising agencies, law firms, commercial property managers, and more. Rick has too many interests outside of work to list from flying to sailing, cooking, and biking. Most importantly, Rick is the proud father of his daughter, Irene.
