David Summers

David Summers is a licensed attorney with more than 35 years of experience assisting individuals and entities with a broad range of legal business issues. Mr. Summers obtained his undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1980, where he graduated with highest honors. Mr. Summers attended Cornell Law School, and served as a Senior Editor of the Cornell Law Review. After moving to Denver upon graduation in 1983, Mr. Summers practiced with Sherman & Howard, a large Denver law firm, before establishing his own firm in 1988. Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Summers’ practice areas have included business formation and development, strategic business planning, contractual negotiation and documentation, securities law compliance, and large scale merger and acquisitions. Mr. Summers also has experience prosecuting damage claims against multi-national companies in Federal Court litigation proceedings in several jurisdictions. More recently, however, Mr. Summers has assisted companies with legal and business issues involving data migration, particularly with respect to SAP software applications.
