Uma Sharma

Uma Sharma believes that technology and location intelligence are becoming so closely intertwined that GIS is going to be a big arena specially the drone industry,

Prior to becoming investor in GeoWGS84 Corp, she spent nearly 2 decades working in MapMart, Thomson Reuters, Maximus, Arrow Electronics where she developed deep understanding in Geospatial Technologies, Finance and Legal domains. Presently she works as a Senior Software Engineering Manager in S&P Global.

Uma holds dual Masters degree one in computer science from University of Colorado and another one in Microbiology from India. She holds several Microsoft certificates and her new interest is forming a team of technologist to provide AI and ML solutions to financial industry.

Uma is very passionate about community service and from past 3 years she is helping a charity in India that serves orphan and disabled children.

Uma loves spending time with her family that include her husband, son Eshaan and a dog Google. She loves watching her son’s basketball game, gardening, cooking and is playing golf.
