Using custom drone collections, we can generate digital terrain models with approximate accuracies of ~3cm on the x,y  horizontal values and ~5cm on the z vertical values. We can achieve this using high megabytes per second (MB/s) camera drone payloads for stereo image collections. We will use RTK or PPK drone enabled systems along with the high MB/s cameras. The RTK or PPK systems will refine and increase the accuracies of the images collected using a base station for each project collected. Your project area will also be collected with survey ground check points to check on the accuracy of the DTM produced. The check points collected are far fewer than is needed to control a drone collection not using RTK or PPK drone enabled systems, producing cost savings for your project. These accuracies are much higher than what is possible with airplane stereo image collections.

DTMs can also be generated from airplane stereo collections. The accuracies will depend on the terrain and access to ground control points. We can achieve x,y,z accuracies up to 15 cm with aerial stereo collections with survey grade ground control points

Using stereo satellite data at a 50 cm per pixel resolution it is possible to generate DTM models close to 1.5m in vertical accuracy. The accuracies will depend on the terrain and access to good survey ground control points. Satellite stereo data can be collected globally.
